River Report

Here’s To Our 2026 Season

After another beautiful Gaspesian winter, the quiet of our lodges is slowly giving way to the familiar sounds of a new season. Doors are creaking open once again, boats are getting some love and attention, pro-shops are getting new treats, and every corner of our camps are coming back to life. From the kitchens preparing for another summer of unforgettable meals to our guides fine-tuning equipment and readying the river canoes, every member of the 3Camps family is excited to welcome another season.

We are happy to report that our entire team enjoyed a wonderful winter. Everyone is healthy, well-rested, and eager to reunite with returning friends while welcoming new faces to 3Camps. Speaking of, we’d like to introduce a few of our own: Alexandre (Evening Chef at Salmon Lodge), Mannon (Morning Chef at The Club) and Jean-Philippe Tessier (Guide at Salmon Lodge).

This winter brought a little more snow, blanketing the Gaspé in spectacular fashion. Spring, however, has been slow to arrive. Cool temperatures, steady rain, and damp conditions have lingered, but for Atlantic salmon anglers, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Each passing day brings a little more anticipation as we count down the days until our first guests arrive. There is an unmistakable excitement that fills each and every camp this time of year. Soon, the dining rooms will once again echo with stories from the river. Waders will be drying in the rod rooms. The smell of fresh coffee will greet early risers, and new friendships will be formed over the passion of fly fishing, shared meals and unforgettable days on the water.

3Camps – Spring 2026

As we countdown the days in May, we are reminded how fortunate we are to call these remarkable rivers home and to share them with anglers from around the world. We look forward to another summer filled with tight lines, heartfelt laughter, lifelong memories, and the continued privilege of introducing new generations to the timeless tradition of Atlantic salmon fly fishing.

Welcome home.

Here’s to health, happiness and tight lines,

Julia
