The Club on the Bonaventure is the newest addition to our Atlantic salmon fly-fishing properties. Overlooking the crystal-clear Bonaventure River, The Club has graced its shores for a century. Once a private club for members and their invited guests is now an experience for all anglers.
The Bonaventure River
The Club on the Bonaventure overlooks the crystal-clear fishing pools on the Bonaventure River. Our guests have exclusive rights to miles of private waters where they can perfect their fly-fishing skills. Your unparalleled adventure begins right outside your door and travel between The Club and your first cast is never more than twenty minutes away. This river is legendary for its water clarity and offers its anglers a captivating sight-casting experience.
The Fishing
The Club on the Bonaventure offers its guests a split-day fishing experience with a return for an in-house lunch at The Club. During the month of June, our anglers will fish a combination of casting from our traditional 26-foot river canoes and wading. July and August present anglers with the opportunity to wade fish during our action-packed dry fly season. September is an exciting month due to seasonal changes on the river so anglers can expect both wade and canoe fishing depending on water levels.

The Club
Welcome to the Club on the Bonaventure, where every cast holds the potential for a great fishing story. As the newest member of 3Camps, this once-private century-old club has preserved its rich history and now offers our guests an exclusive fly-fishing experience.
Inside, rich hardwood floors and furnishings create an atmosphere of understated comfort. In 2017, The Club underwent major renovations to restore and preserve the characteristics of the historic buildings. It now features six private bedrooms each with its own bathroom, and after a day on the river, anglers can enjoy a cocktail on the large, screened-in porch overlooking the river.
Our dining room with its original stone fireplace creates a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy all your meals. The living room, surrounded by angling memorabilia and fine art is where fishing stories are meant to be told at the end of the day. Our guests are invited to take in the breathtaking views and immerse themselves in the tranquil and beautiful surroundings of the Bonaventure River.
The Heart of The Club
Your Club on the Bonaventure experience is perfectly complemented by the enjoyment of homestyle cuisine. Our Executive Chef, Diane, with a passion for both fishing and the culinary arts, has crafted a menu inspired by an assortment of seasonal favourites. A full breakfast is served every morning with daily specials, local maple syrup, homemade bread, and wild berry jams. An added advantage of your fishing experience at The Club is an in-house lunch. The inviting aroma of freshly prepared dishes greets you to the casual setting of the dining room, creating an atmosphere that encourages relaxation and easy conversation. After your day’s fishing, enjoy tasty hors d’oeuvres with your favourite cocktail around the crackling fireplace in the living room or on the screened-in porch. To end your day, a full three-course meal is served with wine and enjoyed in the intimate setting of the dining room. This exclusive Club is not just a destination, but an escape for our guests to immerse themselves in a world of premier angling and natural beauty.
