River Report

Fishing Report July 11 th to 17th

The Great fishing continues! That’s the only way to discribe our last weeks of fishing. Once more the big tides from Jukly’s full moon didn’t disappoint us. Nice numbers of fresh fish have entered our rivers over the past week.  All our pools are holding salmon as well as the small runs and pockets in between them. The water temperaturte and levels are just perfect and we are enjoying both wade and boat fishing. The Petite Cascapedia, a later river than the Grand Cascapedia and Bonaventure has great water and a good numbers of fresh salmon coming in every day. The Grand and Bony continue to produce daily.

The hot fly,s this week were mostly tubes, including the Collie dog, Silver Elver, Blue Vulture and Langa Fancy. Drys are still a hot choice and working every day.

Note the photo below, it was shot as a nice 28 pound salmon just took a dry fly from the surface!
